Key Business Needs
Metro-North’s Communications & Signals (C&S) department deployed a NexLyte, Inc. – Telecom Engineering Consultants designed system-wide fiber optic network. To extend network access and support stakeholder’s needs at campuses, yards and edge locations, the C&S department needed a series of design standards to assure uniform design as new systems were deployed.
NexLyte, Inc. – Telecom Engineering Consultants developed standard plans for communications systems that are the basis for all new C&S comms systems. Utilizing the standards, NexLyte, Inc. – Telecom Engineering Consultants designed comms systems to support radio, PA, CCTV, code line, SCADA, security systems and other networks at GCT and many edge sites on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines and related branches.
